The biryani was absolutely amazing! Every grain of basmati rice was infused with the fragrance of spices and yet not overpowering. Best of all, being able to eat a good bowl of home cooked biryani at an affordable price point! Love that the seller added a personal touch by getting in touch with me to liaise delivery, and also found out that he catered the flavours of the food according to taste profiles of buyers!

Ordered both chicken and prawn biryani to try. Was expecting the prawn biryani to taste similar to chicken biryani with just a change of protein, was pleasantly surprised that it had a different taste profile on its own, and yet still tasted amazing!

A truly unique and scrumptious dish that you can only find at Masala Monk. I have tried many chicken biryanis before but this one stands out for me because I appreciate vegetables in my meals. The hearty mix of protein and fibre, combined with the delicious mix of spices, made this a very satisfying meal.

Multilayered flavours that reflect the Chef’s artistry than merely heat and garam masala from a jar! Your Masala recipe is delicious! Chicken was tender and spiced well. Potato was also flavorful and a good accompaniment. Wish I had some bread to dip the sauce in!

I enjoyed the medley of flavours in your Masala recipe. The prawns were juicy and very well seasoned with the mix of vegetables and spices. The prawns were good sized and succulent, perfect for this masala dish as they really absorbed the masala flavour very well. I had this with white rice and the masala sauce was so flavourful and so good! I have a bias towards spicy Indian food so this dish tops the charts for the evening!

We ordered chicken biryani and prawn biryani. It was very tasty and everyone enjoyed it - including 2 ladies who do not eat much rice and they had second and third helpings. It is one of the best biryani I have ever eaten. The biryani is nicely flavoured and comforting. It is not greasy or too chilli hot. The chicken and prawns are nicely spiced, tender and tasty; and the hard boiled egg was a nice complement. I did feel some heat of the prawn biryani on first mouthful - I added the yogurt (called raita) and it somehow cooled the heat. The raita added sweetness and we finished all of it.
