Ayam Buah Keluak is a unique and tantalizing Peranakan dish that showcases the distinct flavors of the Malay Archipelago. This dish features tender chicken pieces cooked in a rich, earthy gravy made from fermented black nuts known as "buah keluak." This dish takes an average of 3-5 days to prepare. Bibik Lily cooks it with her homemade rempah and extra buah keluak meat in the sauce, resulting a dish that is filled with "GAO-ness"
Ayam Buah Keluak is often served with steamed rice, however, we do recommend the Nasi Ulam to go with it. Other meat options are also available.
